Respira, Prova (Breathe, Try) is a 70-minute observational documentary directed, written, filmed, and edited by Andrea Gambadoro. Set in Italy during July 2020, just one month after the easing of lockdown restrictions, the film follows a theatre company as it resumes rehearsals for a new play.

What begins as a familiar creative process unfolds into a poignant reflection on resilience, adaptation, and the role of art in times of uncertainty. With COVID-19 protocols shaping every moment, the documentary offers an intimate look at the emotional and logistical challenges of making theatre in a post-lockdown world.
